Btw, how can a raccoon and opossum kill dog? (Don't count passing rabies.)
They can kill a puppy or small breed dog, which are quite fragile & defenceless.
So don't let your chihuahua go to the backyard at nights through pet door...

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

Racoons travel in packs which have easily killed large animals that a individual shouldn't.
and coyotes weren't actually native to Indiana before our game warden decided to bring them back to hunt deer, which they fail to due with rabbits and cats running around.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Raziel what the hell are you talking about? Coyotes have been native to Indiana for many years (I know, living in Indiana myself). They arrived naturally from western states after the extirpation of wolves left a niche open, here and throughout the entire Eastern US. Coyotes have never been introduced intentionally anywhere.

Also, JMT, raccoons are big and aggressive. My grandmother's neighbour lost both of her small dogs in one night when they were chained up in the yard the summer before last, and 3 raccoons ran up from the street, killed them, bit off one's head, and chewed their leashes and dragged the bodies away to eat.

I like cats. They're useful with rodents.

My cat killed a mouse when she was still a kitten, and then killed a rat around 2/3 her size when she got a little older.

However, my dogs also got their fair share of rodent kills, so I like them too.

But, cats are mischievous. I found three of my kittens taking a dump in my hermit crab tank. :|

Dogs are okay, but mine are too excitable. You can't offer them anything without risking a bite to the fingers. xD

Vultures eat only dead carcasses and cannot carry anything in their weak talons.

I could feasibly see a large hawk or falcon performing such an act, but not a vulture (which are well known to be obligate scavengers, feeding almost exclusively on the dead or dying bodies of large animals).

There is always something going on...

I like dogs better than cats, but nothing beats a potty-trained reptile that can fetch thing for me as well.

Well, Dholes and jackals cover the rural streets of India, and also bengal tigers very often get TOO close to the villages in the forests.......

In Thailand, both dhole and jackals are afraid to humans and they could be found only in the conservation park...

Thanks to our traditional nature.....Killing everything on sight. *Face palm*

Also, I never know before that raccoon can be such hostile. :o I know that they eat poultries such as duck, chicken and peafowl....... But also dog!!!

Hunting dogs are the best.
The bond you develop with them, I don't even have words for that.
Herding dogs are much better. Not that much killing involved.

But any dog (not counting mutated rats like Chihuahuas) is better than a cat.
