I'd add that dogs can be dangerous to other people too if left unsupervised (not saying that all dogs are killing machines, but some can be more aggressive)

Yeah, people should watch their pets more closely to prevent them from attacking people.

I was already aware that they were a problem in many places, that doesn't mean we should completely abolish keeping them.
Still there are many unwanted pets...
Seriously, all cats & dogs that don't have a show-class pedigree status must be neutered.
It should be the first thing considered after getting a pet and checking its health.
Even in show-class pets, not everyone is being used in breeding, because respectful owners care not only about appearance, but also about their health & temper (and bad temper or genetic abnormalities can be inherited). Top animals (breed-class) should be the privilege of the people who contribute to the pedigree development.
So owners who want to breed their pet-class Lab or Persian just to make their pets 'happy' or 'married' (especially if their friends are owners of opposite gender animal), and to see cute babies with intention to sell them (often with label of show-class ones), are doing BAD thing.

All my pets are neutered, when did I say they weren't? But yes, I agree.

This little drunk.

For those who don't recognize him. It's a black and tan Shiba Inu.

I like both, and of course it depends on your lifestyle. Someone who doesnt have the time to walk their pet every day or take it outside to do its business might want a cat. And of course, all dogs and cats are different. I personally cannot stand small dogs, (Only the yappy ones though) XD

You will respect my authoratah.

Because lots of people are stupid and don't train their dogs properly.

And most likely cats only like you for food. With dogs I think there is a chance of something more.

I think I would know if my cat were using me for food.

Then you are seeing things. Most likely. Probably a large reason why you think that is because of films like lion king. I mean that film makes you think lions are so majestic. When the only thing majestic about them is there looks. Dogs are far more majestic.

And dogs will always be truer friends than cats from the simple fact that you family can be being tortured by some burgerler and you cat will just ******* meow for food. The dog will actually try and stop him.

Cats have so many qualitys that we dispise in humans and I don't see why we should stop at humans, when dogs are a far far far better choice.

And I sort of expect somone to post some cute cat picture and say "why wouldn't you like them?"
IF you did, that would show me how pathetic, stupid and delusional you are.

And of corse I'm not saying dogs are perfect. Only a pathetic stupid delusional person would think that. If you actually think that.

And as you keep on telling me to keep them indoors I'll set this strait. I agree to keep them indoors.

Have you ever actually had a cat? Because I don't think you should be saying "dogs are just better" until you've cared for both animals, as I have.

You care because they are 'cute'. And yes I have had three cats, and known many friends cats.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Having both animals, Hamikins, I am certain they are different, but also both very truly loving creatures. Our cat most definitely loves us. I have never fed him, ever. He just loves to be with me. When I'm sick he lays beside me. Surely all of this effort is not just to get the treats I never give him. My mom feeds him; except at feeding he also wants nothing to do with her.

That's why I said ususlly. It's funny how people take things on the internet.

Cat's have evolved from solitary animals and will not have much empathy for others.

As I said I don't hate cats. I hate allot of the stupid cat lovers. And not all of them. :/ As I said, almost evey one that I've known has been, hm, dumb?

I never give my cat treats either, yet he's more attached to me than my parents who feed him.
