This can't possibly be considered a double post given how long this topic has been inactive.

I'll put this under a spoiler to avoid unwanted cranial meltdowns:

Such mind-bending stupidity can't come under natural causes. BTW this is a comment from a Cracked.com user commenting on an article about bizarre dinosaurs.

That pretty much just twisted my brain into a pretzel.

I hope that was a troll, because if that was actually genuine I think we have a contender for the stupidest animal on the planet.

While this is beside the point, is a "fossilologist" even a thing? :P

Not sure if I should count it as a failure, but yesterday I was watching the First Godzilla movie, and at one point the paleontologist said that 2 milion years before, the Earth was in the Jurassic period.

I knew it was an old movie, but that old ? xD

really?!? O.o I would be ok if that was in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah as there is a godzillasaurus(not the real one)in the film.

I really need to rewatch godzilla films xD

There's no way that would be enough time for all the evolution that's taken place since the Jurassic. :P

They just weren't very educated with paleontological matters, I guess.

Question, is that that guy being sarcastic or is he being serious?

I know the dinosaurs are just made up anyway, you took random dragon bones and started rearranging them into bullshit shapes to impress your basement dwelling science friends.

Oh really, if dinosaurs are made up and dragons were/are real, then how come no skeletons of giant, horned, six limbed (four legged, two winged) reptiles have ever been found?

Sadly, I think he was quite serious (or at least attempting to be, as few people likely took him as such).

Just started reading that paleofail blog.

Good thing my view on humanity was already something close to "few good ones, but mainly living beacons begging the exterminatus to cleanse our world", for otherwise, I may genuinely have been disappointed, oh well, had some good laughs.

Knew a guy like this in middle school.

He's now an officiated assistant pastor at the nearby scientologist church...

I may now know the reason why my neighborhood's demographics went from "friendly neighbors" to "deathgrip conservative aluminium foil hats". Seriously, my nextdoor neighbor believes Obama is from Mars... >.>

If anyone believes this, please, direct them to my office, I'd love to figure out how many of them it takes to change a lightbulb if at all possible.
