Is season 2 out yet? Back on topic, the featherless T. rex is an issue, but I wouldn't be so sure about the Spinosaurus. The studies suggesting it may be quadrupedal are far from conclusive. Personally, I think it's more likely that they were looking at a chimera. |

The only elements of the "new" Spinosaurus that are chimera are vertebrae, and the skull if you don't follow the proposed lumping. So no, Spinosaurus did not look anything like that. On that note, why would anyone have possibly expected better from a clip out of an opening of a show that has nothing to do with dinosaurs and frankly has never had much in the way of budget? |

Agreed. I don't think people should expect paleontological accuracy from shows that don't have it as a main focus. I also don't get why people are so bugged out by bald tyrannosauruses. I understand that they most likely had feathers, but everyone seemed to be okay with them being scaly in the past, yet now they all of a sudden look silly and totally unacceptable? They may be scientifically inaccurate, but aesthetically they still look pretty good to me. |

It's not that peopse don't find them aesthetically unappealing, the problem comes when media like Jurassic World, The Isle, etc. ignore scientific information and portrays these once loving breathing animals as movie monsters. This then makes it harder for Paleontology to be seen as a legitimate Science and instead seen as childish. |

To be fair the Isle Is going to have a Feathered Rex at some point, and the Stomping Lands Rex is still in that game, and has feathers |
