about the collagen thing I've read in one of those posts, is that true that collagenous fibers can look like feathers ?

Apparently, though I think scientists would be able to tell the difference between feathers/pycnofibres and collagen. Some anurognathid fossils have impressions of pycnofibres from their faces, and it would be very odd for an animal to have collagenous fibres on the sides of its head.

Considering the amount of bullshit present on youtube, he nicely fits in the general picture.

The mods will allow swearing to an extent, but I wouldn't recommend getting into the habit of doing so.

I hope my dad doesn't mind me saying this, but I'm baffled by the fact that he called anurognathids "ugly little things" after I showed him some pictures. How could he even say that?

That logic is sound. Not a fail at all. I can't even think of a counter argument that can even compare to the sheer might of his.

Just kidding, that may be the stupidest thing I've read in years. Seriously, a toddler could come up with something better than that.

EDIT:

Paleofail is a goldmine

I could go on and on....

First of all, where did he even get the information that dinosaur bones have been dated as 40,000 years old? And claiming this proves that the Earth is 6,000 years old? That's just insane troll logic!

Anurognathids are some of the most creepy little buggers that have ever flown the planet. I'd still don't mind one as pet.

I've actually come up with this list on how I view various pterosaur groups...
Anurognathids: Creepy but still cute in a strange way
Dimorphodontids: Adowable
Ornithocheiroids: Graceful and majestic masters of the sky
Ctenochasmatoids: WTF??
Azhdarchids and Thalassodromids: Scare the bejeezus out of me, but at the same time are the most awshum beasts ever to grace the skies.
