Pull my finger!

The app Quizup can be disappointing for the dinosaurs section. Why? Even though they state Velociraptor and Oviraptor being feathered, both use scaly renditions of the animal. And also, which of the following isn't feathered? Answer: Tyrannosaurus rex. That question gave me a nice face-palm.

Furthermore, ceratopsian anatomy is all wrong for an apex predator. No wonder they didn't pick this for All Your Yesterdays!

One of my several interactive dinosaur apps claims that Velociraptor was a predator of Shantungosaurus. Unless the little carnivore was superpowered, I seriously doubt that. I had to stifle a giggle when I read this.

Let's have him fossilized, in the Yixian formation, where he'll forever be amongst feathered dinosaurs.

Hmm, so a Stegosaurus having some bristles at the tip of it's tail is like elephants and rhinos having feathers (I'll just assume he means hair).

Hmmm......

I've quite honestly had some rather gory fantasies involving this kid, that would probably worry you guys if I told you. But yeah...in short I actually want him to die.

Wow. That's taking the Raptor Attack trope to a whole new level. Even a T. rex would have lots of trouble bringing a Shantungosaurus down, even if it ambushed the hadrosaur.

Agreed. It's like they think raptors are gods. I swear more people think of raptors as the major predators of hadrosaurs than those who correctly think it was tyrannosaurids.

Remember that people who hype about raptors being 'pack killers' of large dinosaurs aren't reasonable. They think of raptors as of JP monsters. In reality, dromaeosaurids, even though stocky for paravians, weren't built to tackle prey 10 times their weight. When you see a 'pack' of 70kg Deinonychus attacking a 2-ton Tenontosaurus, you can see how desperate these carnivores are and can also predict how many bones will be shattered that day.
